Students struggle to find all the relevant information in one place, both with regards to communicating with lecturers and keeping track of their studies. These details are scattered across various locations, making it difficult to manage study time effectively and intelligently.
The Solution:
A Smart Academic Product that centralizes all essential information.
From what need was the product created?
As a student myself, I experienced the challenges posed by existing learning management systems. I felt a strong need for an efficient information center that would aggregate all the important things for me in one place. Based on the weaknesses and shortcomings I experienced, the idea of creating a product that would better meet this need was born.
Rsearch:
The first thing I tried to understand was how many students struggle or feel uncomfortable around operating all the things that are important to the learning process. Some of them had difficulty finding ways to communicate with the lecturers, some did not know what events were coming up and what was the status of their attendance in the courses. In order to identify the essential information for the product, I asked students what could help them succeed in their studies. I found that most of the information they listed as critical for them, was also considered essential for their friends.
Saving and improving time management
Students no longer need to waste time searching for scattered information. With everything consolidated in one central location, they can effectively plan their study schedules utilizing this centralized source of information.
Motivation
Students can track their progress and visualize their achievements, which can significantly enhance their motivation and engagement.
